Two Surprises in One Day!Welcome to another day of the Gratitude Challenge. As you already know, I've chosen to update and write articles daily instead of merely following a plan. Life is so beautiful, and every new day brings a new story of its own.
You are what you thinkI hope you all had a great Monday. Today, my thankfulness is a continuation of what happened yesterday.
King of My HeartSunday was brilliant. I’m thankful for a lovely day I had, hope you too had a great one. Went to church, the preacher shared a message about knowing who God is, and what he is capable of doing in our lives.
A Birthday Bash to RememberI hope you’ve all had a beautiful Saturday. Today, I am thankful for the gift of life, and being able to observe how other people from different cultures celebrate it.
Thank God it's Friday!I hope you all had a great week. Headed straight for the computer the moment I got home. Watched Avengers with the kids this evening, and I'm so impressed by my tolerance skills. Three hours of trying to piece together a storyline I still have no intention of understanding proved to be a task, but I still enjoyed the atmosphere.
Take Time...Two weeks into the challenge feels fantastic. I'm going to share a poem that I'd never heard of until today. I was chatting with my neighbour and friend over the phone, and she touched on the beauty of 'being present, and lessons learnt in life, now that she's almost 77 years old. She read out the poem, which has been stuck on her freezer for years. I loved it so much I had to find it online and share!
A Proud Aunt!Well, today, I’m going to keep this post short, not because I don’t have much to say, but because we’ve just published a new article which I’d like you to read. This writing journey has been the culmination of efforts from different people, friends, and family. I never knew that young children would be inspired to put their thoughts into thoughtful words and share their views with the rest of the world.
Letter of thanksWelcome to the 12th day of the Gratitude Challenge. A part of me was worried about running out of words to say, especially since I’m sharing some of my gratitude highlights with the general public. I’m grateful that the opposite is true. I’ve got A LOT of stuff to be thankful for! Today, I thought I’d change the tempo and write a letter to complete strangers.
The World's Shortest BlogToday, I'm going to fast-track to Day 12 of the Gratitude Challenge so we can stay on track with journaling. However, I sincerely value you being here.
Expect a new post before end of day. Thank you for your patience. Previous article... For the Heroes Who Won't Wear Capes - Forever Thankful!Today's article was supposed to be posted yesterday, but I couldn't write thanks to a couple of commitments. I could write in advance, and schedule posts, such that there is a new post come rain or sunshine, but that would defeat the purpose since I'm reflecting daily online. However, I still managed to jot a few points in my gratitude notebook.
