Spider-Man and Disney-Sony Fallout: A Case of Coordinated Chaos

When everything collapses because there is a plan in motion.
Sometimes the world works in mysterious ways and ways that we cannot comprehend. Occasionally, we have stability, and then other times, we have chaos. At the rarest of times, we have coordinated chaos.

I am your friendly neighbourhood writer boy.

What is Coordinated Chaos?

Well simply put, it's when everything collapses because there is a plan in motion. Chaos, on the other hand, is a complete disorder which ruins lives. The current Disney-Sony fallout could be described as coordinated chaos which has left many of their fans at war and very unhappy. Another example of coordinated chaos is an incident involving my friend and me at an airport in Vienna, a couple of months ago. I will explain more about these two incidences later.

One may be wondering at this point what I'm talking about: you see, it's straightforward. There's an array of life lessons and a plethora of talking points that can be learned from chaos, whether it's coordinated or not.

Spider-Man Fallout: Sony vs Marvel Studios

There he is, Spidey out of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Peter Parker, the boy underneath, the mask and a hero to fans. However, due to the failed contract negotiations between Disney (which owns Marvel) and Sony means that Spiderman will no longer be a part of the MCU. It's a major chaotic event taking the world by storm. Every Marvel fan, every Spidey fan and every superhero fan has been riled up and angered, but, what will this mean for Spidey? He has been caught in a rift between the two cinematic giants and Tom Holland, the person who acts as Spidey hasn’t said anything about it. Many people are in suspense as they wonder what he thinks of the situation.

Takeaway Lessons from the Disney-Sony Fallout

1. All is Fair in Love and War
People might not understand this, but, when you have a motive, power and drive, you can do whatever you want. It means you have choices over what you own. So, you need to be careful with the decisions you make in life. Disney and Sony have all the power to make the final decisions, even if it makes fans angry. There is a bigger plan in motion; only time will tell.

2. It’s What You Make of Ownership that Counts
When you own something special, you have to treat it with care; whether it is just a video game or that special someone. You need to be very, very, very careful with how you treat them because your decisions almost always affect other people. If it’s about something you love, it could potentially cloud your judgement. Always take into consideration that someone else likes that thing just as much as you do.

A Disaster Tale In Vienna

While travelling back home from World Scholars Cup which was hosted in the Netherlands, our team embarked on the very long series of connecting flights, one of which stopped in Vienna, Austria then Germany. It was supposed to be a simple changeover. Instead, disaster and another case of coordinated chaos were in store for us.

Was utterly knackered, and all I could think about was how much I wanted to sleep. As we got off the plane in Vienna, I grabbed my school blazer and phone, checking one last time that I had everything.  Confidently left my plane seat, but, I had forgotten something fundamental!

As I walked up to my teammates and coach, I suddenly realised that I’d forgotten my passport. When I yelled about it, my friends laughed. None of us really wanted to leave because we'd had a good time, and they thought it was just my way of saying that I wanted to stay. But it was true. I'd forgotten my passport was on the plane!

I quickly ran to one of the officials; it was too late. The gate was already closed. My coach and I immediately followed through to the Lost and Found area. After what seemed like an hour, we crossed paths with the rest of the squad, nine other competitors and an adult. My teacher quickly, my teacher gave everyone their passports, with a hint of frustration in her eye as we continued to make our way towards the Lost and Found area. They looked relaxed and comfortable, and their passports had been kept together. Hadn't handed in mine because I was sitting far away from the rest of the team.

At that moment, one of my friends dropped another bombshell. “Madam you have not given me back my passport!” My teacher could not believe it! She quickly checked her purse and plastic bag. She’d forgotten his passport on the same plane, and shock hit her! Now, all we could rely on was the efficiency of the officials as we forced them to hurry up. I was running, my teacher was troubled, and we needed a miracle.

Ran through the gates and proceeded to Check-in. They told us the plane was gone. However, my teacher had asked the other adult travelling with us to stall the aircraft for as long as possible. She immediately texted the other adult and asked if the plane had left. “No,” was the response. The lady on duty went back to check if this was true.

She came back and told us we were lucky, one more minute and the plane would have left!

Now you might be wondering why I’ve told you the story, but it’s simple. Another clear case of coordinated chaos! Rewind and look at my account carefully, this whole scenario was very time-sensitive. If I had not realised I had forgotten my passport when I did, my friend would have realised that his passport was missing too late!

My friends teased me and said my brain had planned all of this and was coordinating things very well amidst the chaos until I realised the magnitude of the problem I would’ve caused if we’d missed the flight and pulled the plug on the operation.

Moral of the Story

3. There's a Message in a Mess
No matter how disorderly it got, it was all was part of destiny, although some might even say it was a complete miracle. My message to everyone is, no matter how much it may seem like life is falling apart; you may be a victim of coordinated chaos!

The Sony and Disney Spiderman feud was drama filled and did make me unhappy, but this article really made me laugh, and made me look at it in a more positive way!

Speaking about organised chaos, it appears Tom Holland may have escaped the 'Spider man curse' after all. Sony has a agreed to continue the Spider man franchise with Tom Holland. However, you can count out all the Avenger themes and characters. I'm not sure how it will pan out because I genuinely believe that the collaboration with the Avengers rejuvenated the Spider man story line.

Interesting perspective,Theona. It further illustrates what #WriterBoy mentioned about ownership and power and maybe copyrights. It also gives us all something to think about, even in our personal and business dealings. Thanks once again for your comment, hope Writer Boy will get back to us with his take on things :)

Actually it seemed as if he had hope but now unfortunately sony and disney have failed to reach an agreement and he too has been axed which leaves people wondering since he was a big part of the mcu how they will cover up his absence. Yesterday he was axed and now only time will tell what happens to him
